Whether you're a novice seeking skills or a veteran climber in search of the "radically extreme," The Rock Club (TRC) offers over 15,000 square feet of terrain for your indoor rock climbing experience - only a half-hour outside the big city. Challenge yourself on walls designed, engineered and built by RockWerx. Accessible by MetroNorth (TRC provides train station pick-ups). Hours: Monday - Friday: 10am - 10:30pm; Saturday and Sunday: 9:30am - 8pm; Holidays: 9:30am - 8pm.

Upper West Side

The Upper West Side has the same north-south perimeter as the Upper East Side (110th Street to 59th Street), with Central Park at her east and the Hudson River on the west. In the spirit of the freedom of thought on the Upper West, residents may also define their neighborhood as including Columbia University, which begins at 116th Street and heads north.
