The greatest way to start the day is to take an early morning walk in Central Park when the sunlight breaks through. Then grab a nice breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien to prepare you for the high energy day. Stroll down Madison Avenue, let your eyes feast on the fashion boutiques and then head down to the Lower East Side or maybe the West Village to experience fashion and style. End up in one of my favorite places, Da Silvano or Giorgione for the best Italian food with a fun vibe and amazing flavors. Upper East Side
The Upper East Side is defined by 110th Street on the north and 59th Street on the south, the East River on the east, and Central Park on the west perimeter. In between you will find the following avenues starting from the East Side; York, First, Second, Third, Lexington, Park, Madison and Fifth.
The Upper East Side is home to a majority of the city’s major art museums including The Cooper Hewitt, The Frick, The Guggenheim, The Jewish Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Neue Gallery and The Whitney. You will also find here a large upscale residential community centering on Fifth and Park Avenues, and to support it, the upscale shopping of Madison Avenue and the too few private schools over which residents vie for space.
