"Yelo is a new kind of wellness center, offering both sleep and reflexology treatments. If you are overworked or tired, Yelo will help you relax, increase your alertness and promote overall well-being. The YeloNap is our version of the power nap. It takes place in our unique, modern, private cabins. When your nap begins, you will recline in our luxurious YeloChair to elevate your legs above your heart. This will slow down your pulse and encourage deep relaxation. Naps may be experienced on their own or combined with Reflexology treatments for a totally blissful experience. A Reflexology treatment allows the body to achieve a state of deep relaxation by opening energy pathways, calming the nervous system and helping to improve circulation. We also offer Shiatsu massage, as well as aromatherapy and facials. We serve clients from all over New York City and Midtown."

The East Village is home to immigrant families who have lived in the affordable housing here for generations (paid tribute to in the Lower East Side Tenement Museum and Katz’s Delicatessen, both on Delancey Street). The newly upscale profile of the East Village is headquartered on Rivington Street and embodied by the Rivington Hotel and restaurants like teany. An exploration of the East Village should be done on foot: walk east on First Street at mealtime where you’ll stumble upon Prune. East Village landmarks are Washington Square Park, New York University, and the Strand Bookstore; Tompkins Square Park and Chinatown (visit Pearl River Mart, a Chinese department store) are nearby.
